This policy explains how The Clean Mind ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you visit thecleanmind.com, sign up for our emails, or purchase any of our products.
By using our website or providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who we are
The Clean Mind is operated by Dr. Jyothish K, an individual practitioner based in India. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at thecleanmindbydrjyothish@gmail.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver our service to you. This may include:
- Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), any answers you give on a form, and the content of any messages you send us.
- Order information — the product you buy, the price paid, and the transaction reference issued by Razorpay (our payment partner). We do not see or store your full card, UPI, or netbanking credentials — those are handled entirely by Razorpay under PCI-DSS rules.
- Usage information — pages viewed, the rough location your request came from (city / country), device type, browser, and referring page. We use this in aggregate to improve the site.
3. How we use your information
- To deliver the products and emails you've signed up for.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To respond to your messages and support requests.
- To send you occasional updates about The Clean Mind — you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations under Indian law.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Razorpay — to process payments.
- Email service provider — to send you the email series you've signed up for.
- Law, tax, or government authorities — only if we are legally required to do so.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working (for example, to remember your form progress). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as you are an active subscriber or customer, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax and accounting law (currently 8 years under Indian Income Tax rules). You can ask us to delete your data earlier — see Section 8.
7. How we protect your information
Our site uses HTTPS. Payments are processed by Razorpay over encrypted channels. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to our tax/legal retention obligations).
- Withdraw consent and opt out of marketing emails.

9. Children's information
Our products are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us their information, please email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date below will always reflect when it was last changed. Material changes will be communicated by email if you are on our list.
